i usually just wait for the specials at mad butcher, can get boneless skinless breast for 11.99/kg if you're lucky.

another good deal i've found is at Gilmours, 5kg of Whiting (alright fairly plain tasting fish), for $35.00

always after cheaper deals with chicken though if anyone knows any?

untill you find a source to buy bulk chicken breast, the mad butcher will be your best bet @ $15.00/kg. They always go on sale though so you could stock up and freeze em when their cheap.

Incase anyones looking, gilmours henderson (any maybe other branches?) have boneless skinless chicken breast $50 plus gst for 5kg, slightly cheaper than the weekly mad butcher specials.

sirloin around 11$/kg incl gst too

i buy 10kg every couple of weeks for $115 from a friend. its halal too and it seems to be better quality meat than the shit that the mad butcher and pak n save sell...that stuff feels more like fish than chicken.

I end up just bringing 10kg or so up from Nelson after visiting the parents but that doenst last long.

New World runs the show down in Wellington city so have full control over the prices and they sell theirs for about $20 per kilo ON SPECIAL.. :twisted:
