got up at 2.27am this morning and played PS3 and surfed the net until 4.30am trying to keep quiet as not to wake the others with my colourful language because I couldnt get past a certain level on the game I was playing, and now I am about to head off to the gym to train(I got caught up playing delivery bitch and car mechanic yesterday so had to scrub leg training) 8)

delivery bitch or bitch delivery? and did she reward you for your chivalry? :pfft:

Dropped out of the Dunedin NABBA show.

Being ready in time was already going to be a close call, but having missed most of this week from the gym due to snow & illness, I'm too far behind the curve. Combined with a few earlier mistakes, and ...yeah.

Gutted.

Found out today that the free weights area at my gym will closed off durring the world cup which will mean that I will have to train at the gym that I work at for a month.

why are they closing it down? they should give you 6 weeks free extension on your membership

The reason teams that will be based in Dunedin during the world cup will using the free weights area at my gym.

I thought that was fair by Les Mills Dunedin mangement and at the start of this there have been signs up saying busy times during the world cup and lucky for me good thing I work in a gym.At work today I got given the look by a female member which made feel a bit :shifty: afterwords when she gived me the look.

Stink bro! Although probably best they gave you warning, rather than just turning up and having all of the racks in use by 30 dudes - as used to happen at Cityfitness here in Thorndon.

Cheers fellas. Backup plan is the NZFBB Chch show on Oct 15. That gives me another 8 weeks.

Phedd, it should still be worth coming along to the show mate. Sky is still fielding 5 competitors, including big Sammy. In fact that's the one good thing to come out of this... I no longer have to go up against this guy :lol:

I'm definitely still coming, another mate of mine will be competing and we've got a good bunch coming to support her.

The link says the content is unavailable so must be private, but I trust that Sky is putting forward some solid competitors. It's quite likely I'll actually join up there next year as I'll be flatting up Stuart St and sharing a room with my girl. Would make rent much cheaper, and I'd love to spend that extra money on a great gym very close by \:D/

couldn't find a 180 min carpark...so I parked in a 60 min car park for 120 mins...came out and didn't see a fine so I was happy...until I drove on the motorway and heard some flapping....turns out they sort of hid the fine...recorded a video where I was cussing it, but then it flew...no idea how much the fine is, hopefully it's under 50
