I have heard that you cannot get this OTC, but based on the last sentance on this article

Some chemists still stock the Cold and Flu meds with Ephedrine in it however they always offer and try to persuade you to use the the newly forumulated meds containing phenylephrine.

Ask for it and tell the chemist the phenylephrine shit doesnt work on you.

The law is getting changed soon or may have already happened making all products containing psuedoephedrine/ephedrine illegal to sell OTC and you can only attain with a prescription from a doctor, so if phenylephrine doesnt work for you (which for some people it isnt as effective) you will need to go to the doctors.

alot of pharmacies will tell you they dont have stock and to use the new formula, nowadays thats probably true and they dont actually have any as opposed to just saying they dont to get rid of the p heads. the pharmacies arent buying more because they will be left with stock they cannot sell when the change happens. if they still have stock itll just be left over and thats lucky for you but gettign harder to find.

for majority of people the phenylepherine works just fine for flu symptoms.

Yeah, as tom said. I think it was on the news last week regarding cold & flu meds with pe will be perscription only from now on.
