The bicep's a simple muscle with a simple function. Not really a lot of room to go about shaping it, unfortunately. You can make it bigger, but how it winds up looking is really out of your control. The shape has much to do with insertions and attachments as the actual size of the muscle.

bodybuilding mags rave about concentration curls for the bicep peak and I remember reading an article by a female bodybuilder that held the dumbell more towards the index finger as opposed deadcentre (translation hold the dumbell so that there is no space between the index finger and the dumbell plate and lots of place between the thumb and the otherside) ,It helped her contract the bicep more.

But what pman says is what is closer to the truth unfortunatley.

Luckily I have a short insertion point which means that I get a nice peak but nothing peaks out under the tshirt sleeve.I like it like that! :-)Undercover Guns !llol!

Isolating the muscle first (eg, concentration curls, machine preachers) and THEN doing your basic barbell or dumbbell curls.

Isolating the muscle first just really gets the blood in there and it gives it a crazy pump for the exercises to follow.

yaye thanks, all great advice - I get jealous when I see chicks with it but like you say all down to how you are built, getting there - cant wait to see hoew I look in another 12 months!!
