problem is you will losse a load of weight!

but it'll be muscle mass and not fat

when you starve your body like that, your body will sacrifice muscle mass first as it 'costs' the body more cal's to 'operate'

Not always the case Mike

There is a diet called PSMF that can be used to prep for a photoshoot if you're not quite in tip top condition.

I've crash dieted on around 1500 calories (down from maintenance of 3500). About 280g protein, 20g Carb and 30g Fat.

Lost about 7kg in a week, alot was water due to having no carbs but def alot of fat drop too.

I wouldn't recommend it unless you had to drop weight fast but it can be effective

any dramatic weight loss you achieve by crash dieting would mostly be water loss and can work for short term weight loss but it don't take long for the brain to figure out what is going on your metabolism will slow down , you will become catabolic causing you to lose muscle again slowing down metabolism and your body will fight to hold on to fat in order to survive.

ever heard the term "yo yo dieting" this is caused by crash dieting fuking up the body and as soon as you go back to eating normal you ballone up worst then before not to mention crash dieting fuks you up mentally as you are allready experiencing

I will tell you the perfect way to make your body healthy and fit. Always stop taking meal when you have feeling that you have a little appetite left. At that moment stop eating and always drink water before meal and don't drink water at the end of meal.

Like soundsgood, I tried PSMF'ing (keto diet) a while ago for about 2-3 weeks. Was supposed to be a month, but I caved in  In the grand scheme of things, it wasn't a long amount of time, but it definitely felt long lol.

I felt shit all the time to be honest. Surprisingly though, managed to maintain lifts in the gym. I handled the jandal to look good for a trip overseas, so it was worth it lol.

I lost, from memory, about 10kgs. I didn't do any bodyfat % measurements which I regret now, but did drop quite a bit of fat. Also had the the most vivid dreams about donuts and cadbury creme eggs

I think I have Lyle's PSMF e-book saved somewhere. Can try find it if anyone wants a squiz.
