Faulty Appetite

Traps

Recommended Posts

Its all very well saying eat 6 meals a day bro but you have to be realistic, if i try and eat 6-8 meals a day it gets to the point where i'm gagging badly at every meal, and when i have a goody it will usually suppress my appetite for even longer and just exacerbates the problem. i'm steadily gaining weight atm and i only eat maybe 4 times a day (not including shakes).

If its easier to eat two meals in one sitting but not two meals spread out over time then to me its a no brainer. For breakfast i had 500 grams of chicken breast and 4 cups of pasta (100grm Pro 200 carb) and i cant see that being any different than splitting that in half and eating it in two meals.

Its also great pre workout having a huge feed of carbs in you as well.

Perfect sense, it is true everyone is different. You have to find what suits you best. I have tried a few different variations but what you are saying is probably going to suit me best.

Thanks for the input.

If you're often seen frequenting the death star (aka the dark side) try the peptide GHRP-6 otherwise theres a fairly new supplement out called "ravenous" not sure of the company but that increases appetite a hell of a lot.

I will give that a try thanks Pete_S, will try anything to get my weight up.

Maybe you could do with some more faster digesting carbs and then try upping your calories a bit from there. :D

Hey Monkey Man, I have tried that but didnt see too much of a difference. Worth another shot..... :pfft:

by eating less meals but bigger meals a day will slow your metabolism and keep your body guessing when it is dont get into a routine, the more often you eat the faster you metabolism works. if your body dont know how long and how much food is coming in, then it will try and hold on to the food what you consume by storing it rather then burning it, you might find you feeling a bit sluggish by doing this. also try casien protein or 8 eggs before you go to bed, this will profide slow digesting protein during night and your body will not go into fasting. also your metabolism will starting to work faster as soon as you eat something in the morning, so will pay to eat a bit later to stoll this process with a big solid meal.....this is my 2 sents. good luck

Thanks for the input kalahariman, what you say makes a lot of sense and I am going to be doing just that from now on. I seem to burn it all off if I eat too many meals a day. I will also try your egg suggestion, makes sense so I am sure it can only do good.

Eating the same total amount of food across 8 meals a day or eating 3 makes no difference, that is a myth (check out leangains.com)

So eat whatever times you want if it helps

Just adding some clarification
