30-year-old starting out

thirty is a good age youll get more results out of suppliments at 30 than at say 20

How so?

im assuming he just means testosterone boosters such as tribulis etc, as your natural levels are dimishing at age 30 compared to 20.

be more specific next time please, by not including minor details can cause major confusion.

Oh true it might have changed when i first saw a study years ago test went down after 25 but then again take the 'animal pack' product it says on the container that a person over 25 will most benefit so maybe its all marketing :D

but its seemed to me that as we age we get more use out of things, the average guys who needs saw palmetto who are not on roids would be older in age more balding as we age more conversion to dht more slowing down of the bodys ability to repair more cell degeneration weaker joints if not there probably is a magic number where it all goes down like a roller coaster but id rather be a 20year old skateboarder than a 30year old skateboarder, rather have work the next day from a hangover at 20 then 30..

Who really gives a sht about trying to be right, the main point is to encourage someone to get into bodybuilding at the end of the day..

being correct is probably the most important aspect to anything. if you know how do something you can prepare a plan and suceed at it... its alot harder to suceed knowing nothing.

If you need that level of certainty about life and things you might never make a move..or get paralysis by analysis.

ok lets take bodybuilding for example, i dont know anyone who has suceeded at bodybuilding by not knowing anything about it.

its very important to be educated on training and nutrition and also supplements if you want to take them, so you can get the best results possible. you will get the best results possible by putting your knowledge into practise and doing what is required to acheive your goals. this is alot easier and quicker and in this case healthier.

can u plz help me out, i am 30yrs old and i want to go in bodybuilding. Is it the right age to start with

Hi Gill I started lifting at the ripe old age of 33. I'm very happy with how things have progressed for me.

Making no assumptions here - if you really are brand new check out the Resources section of the site:

content.php?id=163

and if you're not (you probably know more than me); I've found that getting into a routine of going to the gym regularly with a couple mates who know more than you helps to motivate you, and drive you along.

Best of luck!

Hi gill, 30 is a great age to start bodybuilding. Bodybuilding is not like alot of other sports where ones age plays a bit big part on your ability to remain competitive. I have trained both male and female bodybuilders who didnt pick up thier first weight untill they were well into there 40s who went on to become national and world champions.
