Abs + rest day question

Hi guys,

Quick couple of questions..

Is it vital that i train abs when im attempting to put on muscle mass?

also , i am currently training 5 days a week and having 2 rest days, but lately i have been finding myself wanting to train on a saturday aswel. Would one rest day be fine or should i keep it to two? id be training legs for the 2nd time on the sat.

Dont neglect the abs bro. Without a good set of abs you just look like a slob. If im training a bit lighter with the higher reps i find 1 days rest is fine but when im going heavy and doing damage il use up to 3 days a week rest time and trust i need it. Thats just me though you may have mean recovery
