Hey all.

Just wanted to thank everybody on here for the good advice and many laughs over the years. Mrs Weener and myself are moving to Brissy in October to start new jobs. That means with all the running around until we leave that we both wont be competing at Nationals and will probably take next year off as well. I will still lurk around the forums and throw out the occasional useless information :pfft: .

Also even now it's against the rules! A big thanks to Hennie, Schalk and the rest of the team at bodybuilding.co.nz for their help and support over the last couple years. Without their sponsorship and great products I wouldn't have been able to compete and win the titles I did. Also Richard and Anette Parnham you guys have been an inspiration to us both over the years.

My 2 cents worth -DON'T stop training, because it can snow ball and before you know it you are 40+ and trying real hard to get back into it.

Ironnically

They cancelled flight for safety reasons due to ash cloud - then were quite happy to put the flight crew on Air NZ plane to fly back- go figure!

As a personal protest won't be flying them again!

Haha currently work (9 years) for Air NZ but you can only take being treated like shit for so long, plus living in CHC with no way of transfering out doesn't help.

Virgin Australia are starting a new regional service with ATR72 aircraft. Those aircraft will be owned and crewed by Skywest but are in Virgin paint scheme ect. Pilots in chc are the highest time ATR72 pilots in the world so they poached us with better terms and conditions. Pretty simple really.

Yeah the ash cloud was a joke there is no real threat this far away from the source especially if you just stay below/away from it.
