Carb Cycling

Im tired of having a beer gut so gonna give this carb cycling diet a go. A mate gave me an ebook called "The Troponln Nutrition Macronutrient GuideBook" so will be using that as my reference.

Any crucial information I need to know? I'm thinking about 2 days high carb and 5 days low carb.

I lift about 4-5 days (weekdays) and have sports on a Saturday so a bit unsure how to structure it.

Referring to UD2 (lyle mcdonald)

MON , Tue,Wed low carb with carb depletion work out(monday and tuesday)

Thursday ==> Tension workout with carb up in the evening post workout till friday night

Saturday and Sunday maintenance(or 20 % less)==>Saturday Power workout....

Guess this diet aims at fat loss and minimal muscle loss

Maybe have 2 of the hardest workouts on a high carb day? Like legs.. And maybe another training day for a bodypart you typically find hard (eg. chest or shoulders.. etc)

I love carb cycling.. Keeps me sane during long periods of dieting, except I was weak and had to have a medium carb day too lol. Good luck with it :grin:
