I issued a fun but serious ultimatum to 3 guys tonight who were training in jeans. I don't get it. Why the hell would you wear jeans to the gym. One of them was training legs.

I can imagine that a few people on here probably do train in jeans. Good for you. But there is no way you can be serious if you train in jeans IMO.

Am I being too tough?

hahaha I can just imagine it.

Im going to start wearing my jeans in. In the summer Ill cut the legs off nice and high and have jean short shorts.

Definatly not too tough.

I've seen a couple lads (who don't look like they know what they're doing at all) training in jeans. One even wears sunnies. Douche-central I tell you.

Sounds like these guys. We have had an influx of feral guys since the earthquake.

Ummm the barbarian brothers trained in jeans and those guys were big strong mofos. They purposely wore tight jeans on leg day cos they reckon it helped them squat. To each their own.

As long as its not offensive or smelly wear what ya like. Surely there are other things a little more important to focus on than whether or not a guy trains in his jeans? At least in jeans they aren't going to leave bum crack sweat on everything!

nothing wrong with jeans...but there is an old fella in my gym that comes in a work shirt+jeans+work shoes and goes on the treadmill while he has a towel hanging out from his pocket (kind of like the snoop blue rag left side, cause that's the crip side thing)

i think i got a pic of him on my phone... Poos and wees you ever seen him>?

Wear appropriate attire or a pair of my shorts.

Why are gyms so against jeans? Not that I'd wear them Unless I was pumping up directly before hitting the clubs lol.

i once split ma short to skirt mode squatting, then found some cut off jean shorts in the car, i swear the gave a good 10kg carry over, mad rebound out of the hole!!, iv been so temped to bust them out again, but can wear in comps so no point
