BCAA Supplement

Na in all seriousness, Xtend is great pre intra and post workout. Glutamine, bcaas and citrulline malate. I like it as my stand alone workout supp, instead of superpump and the likes. Also good if your leaning out and not eating quite so much food. If its outside of the budget then whey should be all good though. Try it for a month or two, see for yourself :D

Yeah, I know some people swear by their BCAAs, but it's always felt like a waste to me when you can get your aminos from a scoop of whey for a fraction of the cost.

I got half of a tub of that foul tasting crap next to me.should have just put that towards more whey.

Hi,..

A few studies reported that when BCAAs were infused in humans at rest, protein balance increases by either decreasing the rate of protein breakdown, increasing the rate of protein synthesis or a combination of both

regards,..

.... Glutamine, bcaas and citrulline malate...

What do you get from using Glutamine? All the studies, threads etc. etc. that I've come across (if my memory is not playing with me) concluded that Glutamine can help your immune system and such, but it wouldn't help you in your pursuit of building muscles.

Thing is, I used to do Glutamine + Taurine + Leucine in my Pre-WO-shake. But then people started asking me for money "'cause since I was throwing away $$ on useless **** like Glutamine, I might as well give it to them!"

I do indeed believe in the use of BCAA-supplements, and I intend to use primarily BCAA in my pre-WO-shake when it's time to buy supplements again.

As of now I need to finish 1kg Leucine, 500g Glutamine, 500g Taurine and 5kg Whey before a new order will be considered.

Btw - I'm experimenting with fasted training (minus some BCAAs just prior to). I guess that's actual why I'm interesting in using BCAA as a supplement... Okay, so the "I am indeed a believer in..."-part of my message was maaaaaybe a bit exaggerated.

Okay - still not following. Why would Glutamine prevent muscle loss compared to, say, BCAA ?

If your diet is sub maintenance level protein-wise why Glutamine? Why not just whey? I'm not saying you're wrong. Just wanna learn :)

Agree, tastes like crap and didnt notice a thing after taking 500gms.

Better off buying protein powder.

It isn't a 'one bag' wonder. Like everything else, results take time. Maybe it is placebo, but I definitely feel good with recovery, and I notice the difference whether on or off cycle.

I use about 20 grams a day though.

EDIT: I meant it ISN'T a one bag wonder... not it IS. Self fail
