Natural sports supplements

well i just went off to my local supplement store who are great and give really good discounts BUT its still costing a few hundred every time i go and see them, and there is so many products to choose from.. i could spend hours in the store if i didnt feel like an idiot being there that long.

ive seen people suggest alternatives to paying out huge amounts of money for these products when you can find some of whats in these supplements at the supermarket sooo i was just wonder if people had some whole food alternatives to the powders and pills and what else they have...

for example ive heard caffeine and green tea are good combination for an alternative to fat burners or to get you amped up for a work out.. and ive heard some bodybuilders are moving away from the whey protein powders in favour of certain meats to obtain the amount of protein their looking for

any advise would be great

cheers

Hey Jenna

Id first of all look at purchasing what supplements you do decide to buy of bodybuilding.co.nz much more cost efficient

And your onto it with getting fat burning effects from foods.

Caffeine, green tea, Cayenne pepper, spices, grapefruit juice.

Keeping in mind that if its supps or food additives, you still gotta make sure that your general nutrition is good and if you want to burn fat, or lose weight you'll want to be eating less food than you need to for maintenance.

Meats and whole foods are better day to day, whey is great as a filler or post workout.
