mixing up the reps

I've been trying out this new rep style and it's working pretty sweet - thought I'd share.

Basically the idea is to mix up the reps from workout to workout to keep the body guessing. So at the moment I'm doing 5x5 one workout, then 4 x 10 next, then 3 x 15 third and then back to start again.

It's not just good for muscular shock - I've found it keeps the workouts interesting because each time I come in I've got slightly different goals and that keeps me focused.

Been doing something similar myself, 5x10 fast reps, 3x8-10 super slow reps and 4x8-10 standard speed reps 2,1,2. Working well for me, made the best gains in the last month doing that, over and above the previous three month period.
