Why this time of year?

Honest question - there seems to be way more people than normal on this forum posting questions, topics and journals in here (Steroids and Pro..) at the moment.

Is there something about this time of year that makes more people than normal go on cycle or is it just coincidence?

I could be totally wrong but perhaps because its winter and people want to do a good cycle pack on mass now, then cut heading into summer looking diesel as?

kind of makes sence, or is it that we're not out enjoying summer nights, so we eat, train, catch up with info on web and sleep.

judging by facebook comments it seems as though christchurch is currently flooded with gear id say this would be why
