yip, and i know countdown have the tray of 30 for about $6.30. thats pretty cheap.

Yeah I suppose fresh is best, but according to this website http://zealea.co.nz/eggwhite.html 1 kg of eggwhite powder ($49.99/Kg) contains the equivalent of 260 eggs divide by thirty= 8.66 dozen, multiply by $6.30 = $54 for the fresh egg equivalent.

So slightly cheaper and as i want it for convenience seems to make sense.

Agree. Unless your fat or lazy, just eat the whole egg. Tastes better too

It may not fit into ones daily macros, and they may be getting in there fat from other sources. For example that eat 30 egg whites per day.

Eggs from the supermarket are expensive eh! Egg white powders typically contain 260eggs/kg, I have one that mixes easy and tastes good!

Find a local egg farm. Most will do all egg based products. I get my shit from a farm that sells liquid egg whites $6 a kilo. Eggcell for the rip off

L M Wright & Co. Ltd sell dried egg albumin powder on line at www.lmwright.co.nz for $32/kg.

They say 1 kg is equal to 250 egg whites. That would cost you $73 @ $3.50/dozen for shell eggs.

And buying it as liquid egg white would cost you around $14/litre.

Using L M Wrights powder, you add 1 kg of powder to 7 litres of water, and get 8 litres of liquid egg white! That works out at only $4/litre!

Litre of liquid egg white is equal to the egg whites from approximately 30 fresh shell eggs.

^^^ Which all sounds great, until you have a closer look and see that you have to buy it in 20kg lots, at $640. Think I'll stick to buying 1kg bags of Nutrawhey thanks.

yeh that's right, but me and a couple of mates chip in and share it. The way to re-mix it is 1 part powder to 7 parts water. Start by mixing 1 part powder to 1 part warm water by weight. Stir to a paste then add the remaining 6 parts water while stirring. Another way is to chuck it in a bullet and make a milk smoothie with some fruit e.g. frozen berries, banana and flavor like milk shake syrup, and 2 tablespoons (about 40 grams) of powder. Easy!
