Testosterone Boosters

I have yet to find a peer reviewed study that actually proves they work. Will Brink has offered a big cash prize to anyone that can come up with one. Still unclaimed.

The role and molecular mechanism of D-aspartic acid in the release and synthesis of LH and testosterone in humans and rats

Enza Topo,1 Andrea Soricelli,2 Antimo D'Aniello,1 Salvatore Ronsini,3 and Gemma D'Aniello3

Methods

For humans: A group of 23 men were given a daily dose of D-aspartate (DADAVIT®) for 12 days (3.12g of DAA), whereas another group of 20 men were given a placebo.

Results

Effects of D-aspartate on LH and testosterone release in humans

Concerning the LH pattern, the results demonstrated that after 12 days of D-Asp treatment, 20 out of 23 (87%) participants had significantly increased concentrations of LH in their blood with respect to basal values (the value of LH found in the same subjects before starting treatment). Statistical analysis demonstrated that the value (mean ± SEM) of serum calculated for all the 23 subjects treated with D-Asp increased by 33.3%. From a basal-level mean of 4.2 ± 0.5 mIU/ml, LH rose to a mean value of 5.6 ± 0.9 mIU/ml (Table (Table1).1). The increase was statistically significant (ANOVA with repeated measures: [F(2,82) = 24.279, p < 0.0001]). LH concentration determined in the placebo group after D-Asp treatment compared with the level before treatment had not increased [ANOVA]), thus indicating that the increase of LH due to D-aspartate treatment was authentic.

Concerning the effect of D-Asp on the induction of testosterone release, after 12 days of D-Asp treatment, the levels of testosterone in the serum of the participants were significantly increased compared with basal levels. Out of 23 participants, 20 had increased testosterone. From a mean of 4.5 ± 0.6 ng/ml serum at zero time, it rose to 6.4 ± 0.8 ng/ml, a 42% increase (Table (Table1).1). Statistical analyses indicated a significant effect [ANOVA with repeated measures: treatment effect: F(1,82) = 7.724, p < 0.0082] and a significant interaction between treatment and days [F(2,82) = 32.599; P < 0.0001]. As with LH, so also with testosterone, the effect of D-aspartate was time dependent.

Are those increases enough to have a significant effect on body composition and strength? I'm not sure. Certainly not comparable to injecting exogenous testosterone, but it's still an increase in testosterone.

Daa's boss as a natural test booster, and its going to be the base of most coming test boosters fo sho. Its a decent increase in test though so I don't really know if that would effect the neg feedback loop in anyway. I think the studys participants did 12 days on and 12 days off, with the blood being done on the 12th day

I do 5g DAA at night & Nettle root, ZMA/multivit, avena sativa (oats) the following day.

Only visible thing ive noticed was a lil bit of increased hair growth.

I got the kg bag of daa from pure bulk

And the rest from bb.com scifit and now brand.

Could stack the daa with erase or something similar for an even better effect.

I wouldn't bother with trib ay, I think it raises LH by like 2% lol.

Eating garlic is possibly a better test booster.

About 6 years back i did Biotest Tribex for about a month. No shit but that stuff had made me chase the missis around the house a few times a day  . As for making me stronger in the gym i dont know. After that i never bothered with test boosters again.

And about 2 months ago i thought hey lets give a different brand of test booster a go and went with neogenix supremacy as the reviews for it was highly rated. I must say that i dont care if its placebo effect or not but that shit is potent. Since comming off of it my strenght have definately decreased a little. I have not changed my diet or done anything different from my program than what i would at any given day. Placebo effect or just random coincidence i dont know but something worked well while i was on it.

Anyway just my experience with test boosters. At this point in my journey id rather use something with a bit more kick so to speak.

I've just tried Activate Xtreme and D-Aspartic acid. Mostly my conclusion for test boosters goes along the lines of, "Yeah, well, that might have worked... maybe." But I was actually quite impressed with this.

My diet was shit (relatively clean food, but nowhere near enough of it) and under normal circumstances I'd have fully expected to drop weight on it. Despite that, I actually gained 1-2kg, and I don't think it was body fat. Mood was consistently good, too - even when the shit hit the fan.

It would be interesting to see what it can do under ideal training conditions.

Go to your Doc & ask for Zincaps - each cap contain 50mg elemental zinc, the product is subsidised & you get 90caps for 3 bucks. Say goodbye to ZMA.

Any requirements for the subsidy? That's some mighty cheap supplementation

Nope, while your there also ask for 100 ibrofen and 100 panadol with repeats on both, then when you go and get it, ask for it to be dispensed all at once and you should only get charged once per item... So you should be able to get 300 ibrofen and 300 panadol for $6 not bad..... \:D/

I've had similar experience just using DAA. Diet, training and sleep have all been less than ideal, not generally eating enough, or enough of the right stuff, missing sessions, and sleep probably averaging 5-6 hours a night. Yet the gains have still been quite consistent and favourable. Going to put in a bigger effort after exams to improve all aspects and see what happens
