Kai greene at NY Pro. Will he take the O?

Recommended Posts

Outstanding physique & condition but he wont beat Jay or Phil in back, shoulders, traps & latspread. His legs tho are insane & more asthetic than say Branch's but again he probably wont take Jay on shear leg size. I would kill to know his pre contest stack

Hes lookin incredible. I can tell you one thing its going to be a huge battle for the O. Kai, Jay , Phil, Branch, Dennis... What id give to go to that.

Don't count out some guys who might even be coming up from the 202(212) division or some guys who were only rookies last year. Essa Obaid could be a good contender if he enters.

If he can come in with his upper body as lean as his legs get and his stomach down then he can beat anyone. He has more than enough sheer size to do so and isn't missing anything. Be interesting to see how he shows up at the olympia now he's with George Farah.

But no one wants a pornstar to be the face of a sport.

Well if that was the primary factor then he wouldn't have won the Arnold twice. I mean big time politics play a massive part but damn we aren't blind and I don't know if anyone else thought so but at the NY Pro he was just miles ahead of everyone and he still has a lot he can do to improve come olympia.

I completely agree. But a lot of people were up in arms about it at last years Mr O. Of course he didn't even come close to the rim of Jays ass but still.

I think Essa Obaid won the NY pro last year. I haven't seen him compete in a while but he has a LOT of potential.

The Arnold is financially the biggest ticket on the annual card > The Olympia is the peak but the Arnold is the proving ground IMO.

Kai's routine was a bit more subdued than normal ...

The way his lower lats sit on his lower back is crazy!!!

This! there is a video of him posing recently before the NY and his lower lats look like steak stapled onto his lower back.

esp in the quads/hammys too!

If Kai can bring the same conditioning to the O I reckon he will have a good shot at the title. Needs to bring up his shoulders though, same with upper chest. His legs are insane, the sweep looks like a feather with all those striations lol.

His gut is still epic

yep... if he gets that belly distention right down, he'll be a force. He has more than enough muscle!! Plus if that belly was smaller he wouldn't need more delts cos they are fucking huge!
