What I have been doing lately:

Carbohydrates - 4kg boiling potatoes $5 from Countdown (special) 84 cals per 100g, 4.2g P, 36.4g C

Protein/Fat - Home Brand tinned tuna $1.87 each 253cals, 28.4g P, 15.4g F

Buying everything in advance when its on special.

You can get some good specials on the sealord and homebrand is always cheap. Stock up.

Getting the non-bagged or single kumara works out cheaper than having it baged, oats and rice are usually cheap. Nutrawhey unflavored ghetto as, but just what you need.

oats,rice,cous cous,pasta's. whole grain breads

chick breast,rump,porterhouse,mince,thighs

eggs,milk

flax oil,olive oil,peanut butter

apples,mandarins,fejoa's,banannas,frozen berry mix

frozen mix vege. fresh brocoli,lettuc mix,spinach

i normally do as above, buy in bulk when on special and frezze that shit

defiantly tinned tuna and salmon, i get fresh fish to eat at least once a week too.

just got a whole carton on tinned tuna a while ago :nod:
