Rest Week???

Recommended Posts

I have been training since the start of the year and train 3-4 days a week, and every 8-10 weeks i'll have a rest week for an entire week where I wont lift any weights or do cardio, even though my job is physical my body still gets decent rest. I was just wanting too know what other trainers do in regards to having a rest week?

If I ever have one it's roughly every 4 months due to illness or injury. I've found every time I've done it, I lose about half-1kg and then once I get back into it I put on a kg and a half. They're quite beneficial for the body and I'm not an expert, but I don't think you should be doing it so often.
