1. Carbohydrates help you sleep. If you don't get quality sleep & duration your depriving yourself of muscle recovery & if your tired your appetite increases which makes you more likely to exceed your daily calorie allowance the following day & possibly effect your workout intensity.

2. There is 7 - 12 hours between your last meal of the day & the first meal of the next day, the less time without a complete meal (protein, carbs, fats) the better.

3. Carbohydrates are cheaper than protein & protein wakes you up.

4. If you deprive yourself of carbohydrates you feel depleted & cravings occur which can lead to a binge.

5. Of the energy you consume 50% is used by your motabolism, 25% by your brain, 20% through exercise & 5% for building muscle. If it's within your daily calorie limit there isn't much difference than consuming carbohydrates for breakfast than it is for your last meal of the day as your motabolism & brain is still working & your muscles are repairing themselves which adds up to 80%. ( your only missing the exercise while your sleeping which is only 20%).

Agree? Disagree?

Now someone create 5 brilliant reasons for not consuming carbohydrates before diving on the mattress.

No 2, there's actually 16 hours between my last meal, and the first of the following day. I like it like that. It's quite beneficial. Google "Intermittent Fasting" before you make sweeping generalisations and push them on others as gospel.

Also...ever heard of keto?

I'm not convinced by IF, is there even one decent bodybuilder that uses it? Or just skinny ripped Rakichs?

Not that it matters really, 99% ov people should just train harder first before they worry about what time they eat their carbs.
