I am the Proud Mother of Grant Pieterse. To all of you out there who are saying anything bad or hurtful about him should be ashamed of yourselves. If any of you have achieved what Grant achieved in such a short amount of time then you can talk again. The circumstances under which he achieved all these amazing things is unbelievable. It is not everyone that can come out at the top with what he has gone through in his young life. He is an amazing, determined and dedicated person. His got a heart of gold and will always try and help someone else achieve their goals.

Those of you that came from Africa and thought you can come to New Zealand and continue being a racist, you should go back to where you come from because we do not have place here for you. One would think that if you’re fellow countrymen achieve something that you will encourage him and be by his side to help and support him.

This is all about jealousy. Grant is the best and he will always be the best. He is a Winner and has always been one. If you want to learn about how to treat your neighbour then you should learn from Grant. Do unto others as you would want them to do unto you.

Ps. A bodybuilder has to work hard to make his/her body look good. It doesn’t all come at once. If there is a part of Grant’s body that he still needs to develop then it is not a shame, he is a work in progress. Maybe those of you that criticize are perfect and won the Mr. Olympia title and look absolutely amazing when you get on that stage. If not then do not say anything negative about Grant again.

Seriously what is wrong with you people? They probably got asked to pose by the show promotors and the people who actually paid and went to show probably appreciated it. I know at a lot of the shows here in aus they will drag out any Aussie pros who are sitting in the audience, ask them a few questions and ask them to do some posing. Most of the time they don't like getting dragged out but they do it because that's the way they feel like they can get some exposure etc etc etc I certainly know that when I was a young guy watching my first shows I really enjoyed seeing the top guys offseason at shows and when they did some posing it was pretty motivating.

I can't believe that so many of you have so much to say about it In a negative light. For my money Darryn Onekawa dwarfs most guys in NZ, sure he's not the most complete guy but he is a big unit, so is Grant and they work hard to improve from year to year. I mean no doubt compared to all the guys who bag them they are rubbish but to me they are pretty big guys and do a lot of hard work.

Not sure why all the racist rants get whipped out but I always think people resort to that kind of insult when they have no foundation for argument so just think whoever can be the more insulting will win the argument. Pretty weak behavior if you ask me.

Well said Harry, from where I was sitting the audience enjoyed seeing some some really big guys pop a few shots up there.

I'd also like to add, that Darryn did a great job as an MC, it was his first time and he connected well with the audience, generated great support for the athletes and more importantly for those spectators that were new to the sport, made ALL bodybuilders look good with his humour and humility when there is often a perception of arrogance about Bodybuilders in the general public.

i dont know darren and have never met him either but im sure hes a top bloke and i think his physique is amazing... great mass, am looking forward to few years down the track to see what he looks like!

i have had a few short conversations with grant but dont know him personally very well. he seems like a good guy. hes also got an amazing physique especially for a guy only one year older than me at 25 or 26. i have nothing compared to him and i used to think i trained pretty hard. he makes big improvements each year which you cant really ask for much more than that. on top of that hes got his own business which im sure is doing well since its been going for a while. overall hes a really successful guy. anyone who can make a living out of bodybuilding and things related such as supplement shop and nutrition is pretty switched on imo.

as for moe i also dont know him personally or at all really and he doesnt know me, i dnt like him and he doesnt like me... but thats irrelevant to this topic and no point stirring shit thats done and dusted. i think hes got a pretty mean physique though regardless and admire how successful he is bussiness wise.
