Thoughts on the 40 hour famine?

I expect mostly negative response to be honest as it would cut into training and diet of most members.

Stuff up your metabolism for a short time?

I do it every year, but yes it does cut into training. Normally really lethargic for about a day after so it takes 3-4 days out of decent training routines

its a joke... do you think those starving people have unlimited 'just juice' and 'barley sugars'. do you know where your money goes and how much of it actually ends up with those starving people... you doing the 40hour famine isnt doing jack all! i tell you what would be the best idea is if they actually helped themselves by stop fucking and shitting out kids that they aint capable of looking after. like seriously... dont they think "ohh im so hungry theres not enough food for me, so how the f*ck is there gonna be food for some little scrot that comes out my womb".

I feel ya there though cuz, a church I used to go to ages ago bought these amazing new toyota vans with church offering, i think they were used as run arounds for people employed by the church.

Thought it was a huge waste of cash, where they could've got well looked after second hand vans and used the rest of the money to help their local community. I don't know why they did it but seemed like a stupid decision.

specifically on how to avoid rape... I'm sure a lot of the women don't wanna have kids but they live in a different world, where they dont get a choice a lot of the time. Worldvision is quite involved in building schools, you should ask if you can teach a class.

If the African countries stayed colonized they'd be far better off... Soon as they became independent everything went to shit.

Having lived in Africa for a year, was a hell of a wake up call.. So many of us take shit for granted (including me).

The UN aid group donates millions of dollars worth of food each year... what happens? The officials who control the donated food sell it off for $ in their own pocket. If the government of each of these countries sorted their shit out and if people weren't so greedy they might actually live ok lives.. just saying

They have kids because its hard for them to find work etc, so if they do find a job then it is in some form of manual labor in which they are sent packing when they start getting old, so they have kids so that the kids can work and support them when they are old, rather than dying at a young age. Its been like that for centuries. If the western world didn't come and pillage their resources then they would still be living in tribes enjoying life dancing around fires.

In saying that I don't give to charities...but if you actually think about it you will see its not their fault, hence why the west holds this guilt and encourages charity funding..
