plateau - leaving keto

Recommended Posts

Started a few months ago at 120-121kg, with <30gm carbs per day and 2000-2100 cals per day have managed to get down to around 100-101kg, but have sat at this weight for around 3 weeks, increased cardio to around 1hour 7x a week but this hasnt done anything.

Goal weight is 80kg then long clean bulk so i'm about half way

Going to start eating carbs again and was wondering what sort of pro/fat/carb ratios you guys use when cutting?

2000cals per day is pretty low if you weight 100kg or so ?

not sure on the macro's ratio... but just about being in a decifit to loose weight. if 2500cals is ur matience, you'd wanna be eating around 2100 per day for a slight decift

try some HIIT for cardio. prolly better results than spending 60mins everyday doing cardio. are you still doing heavy weights?

for your keto... you may want to throw in a day of high carb eating or some junk food sessions to mix it up. just to keep the body quessing

I dont know why people use keto, there is no difference in bodyfat loss if you use a keto diet or a diet with carbs (as long as both are in a calorie deficit and are of equal calories) There is no difference..

But if you want to use keto, then sure go for it..

I think it matters if you are insulin resistant and what level of bodayfat % you want to get down to ,Now Im not going to argue results with you because we know who would win that  ,but its just another way to skin the cat i guess.
