Looks like a holiday, like prisons in most western countries seem to be.

Get them out in a chain gang and make em do hard labour, so that they don't enjoy their time inside and can actually contribute something to the economy. Give 'em shorter sentences to make up for it. I'm sure they won't reoffend after a few years ov forced labour.
