5x5 training and Thor

I like stronglifts and strength training but always notice whenever something famous happens, Mehdi(stronglifts.com creator) claims its all about 5x5. I have emails to prove I'm on his mailing list so obviously I like his sort of training.

For eg Chris Hemsworth from Thor, he says don't waste time with any sort of curls, isolation exercises at all, all you need is only compound = Thor or better.

I'm not crying about it just always believed bodybuilding type of training and strenth training combined is the best way and fast way to pack on muscle, not what Mehdi on about. He says deads, pullups, close grip bench is all you need for arms.

Sweet just wanted to hear what some bodybuilders thought about his views.

Mehdi lost my respect when he sold his 5x5 training fans email list to "lean hybrid muscle" people and tried his best to make everyone buy the new products.
