Taking Creatine Post-Workout

I've just bought Balance Effervescent Creatine, it says to take it 30 minutes before exercise on an empty stomach which I do but says nothing about taking it post-workout. I read in old posts here though it's still also good afterwards, but since food intereferes with it's absorbtion what's the best way to go about taking it post-workout and still having a post-workout meal? Would a protein shake also stop absorbtion??

Not to say that the effervescent creatine isn't good but in my experience it bloats real bad try go with 5g of monohydrate creatine pre and post workout it doesn't bloat and it is tasteless so you can just add it to your shakes.
