Hey man, welcome to the forum. Here's a few pointers for you.

- If you haven't already been to a bodybuilding show, go along and watch one. You'll learn heaps just by being a spectator.

- All the competitions have a teenage class (or similar), but the details may change between them. Pick a competition that suits you then contact the organiser for the details. All the most on-to-it organisers have put their shows in our Event Calendar.

- If you can find a trainer to help you get ready, fantastic. If not, that's ok. Post your photos here (and maybe start a log), and we'll do our best to give advice.

- As your first show, go all out to win, but focus on just learning and having fun.

Get along to Les Mills in Auckland CIty and see Garry Jones, get him to take you through a program, then see Leanne Simays for your precomp nutrition. NABBA-WFF Show is on October 8th, just under 6 months, there's still time
