Legs

Recommended Posts

Just wanting some opinions.

I do legs once in my split. I do calves, hammys quads and glutes all on the same day.

But reading some of the journals on here people are splitting legs throughout the week. Is this better than all at once?

E.g someone will do maybe.. delts and calves

then next day biceps and quads

etc etc

If it is better for growth or just easier for recovery (cause I can barely walk for the next few days after legs) then I may have to change up the routine

:D

I think it's people just switching it up and probably trying to create a bit of time. Personally, I like doing quads, glutes and hammies in one workout because I get the pump like crazy in all the muscles because the blood is just flowing there. But it could possibly be a growth thing for some people. Whatever works for the individual.

Personally I prefer to split quads and hams/posterior chain because I can smash them A LOT harder compared to if I grouped everything into one session.. in saying that I have done one session of grouping things together, and agree with SAS, the pump is very intense!

Go with whatever works for you, with legs just like anything INTENSITY is key imo... If you smash your legs hard they should feel like they have bits of glass in em
