I work 40 hours a week and then I get paid for 40 hours work a week. No perks, freebies or bonuses here either!

Yep, same here.

I work for a crown entity and we have no money at all for anything, including wages on a par with other public servants, nevermind extras. But I like my job so some would call that a perk (I have friends who do nothing but moan about their jobs).

I guess people might think that getting paid to watch porn might be a perk (Film censor). But to be honest I can't stand it. Watching films before they're released in theatres is kinda cool. Other than that, no real perks.

quick question VC i hered a rumor with rating stickers that they cost an OBSCENE amount of $$ for just like 4 stickers..or is that just all fluff?

Oh, I mean just to borrow. I work at Video Ezy.. well I did until the earthquake. Lots of new releases to catch up on when we reopen :grin:

chicken so cheap u wouldnt beleive. 10kg skinless breast meat... $30. most other products $10 for a 10kg box. no prizes for guessing where i work :D

i usually work 6 hours sometimes only 4 but get paid for 8 regardless. i also have to do a bit of traveling to different farms and so i get paid 83c every km i have to travel but thats ok cos im meant to be getting a brand new hilux with fuel card and unlimited personal use soon :grin:

The classification process is pricey, but stickers? I'm actually not sure (The NZ Labelling body sorts that).

Got a master key to hunt 35,000 hectares of pine forest whenever I want in the weekends, free meat! Good exercise too, climbing up steep banks with a big pig on your back sure makes you sweat.

Yup! Another wank off thread about the perks or freebies you get with your job!

I work for a Recruitment company but am based on site with our client who happens to be Heinz/Watties.

My perks are:

Unlimited Blue or Green top milk(The fridge in the cafeteria holds 96 2L Bottles of milk)

Toaster, Microwaves, blender etc, and if you flex your muscles for the Russian Lady behind the counter you can bring in fresh steak, chicken, eggs and she will wack it on the grill and cook it for ya!

A Staff sales card which gives you ultra cheap sales on can goods which you pay 5x the amount in a supermarket. (Pet food, soups, baked beans,spagetti,corn, weight watchers products, juices, canned veges, pate, jams, marmalades, all kinds of crap, frozen veges etc)

Oh, and heaps of South American girls working for the season, is a big bonus =P~

Free Internet!!!!!

I will keep adding to my list, it is gym time for me!

You lucky bugger Spector.At the gym that I work at I get free membership but the only time that Ihave trained at the gym that I work at is when the free weights area at Les Mills Dunedin was being done up.

All porn. We have to rate it before release to make sure it's not dodge.

Well I do have an arrangement with the boss where I start early/finish early, AND don't take a lunch break (most days) so I can get up the opposite end of town for the gym at a reasonable hour :grin: But not really a perk, more an understanding boss... and just works out well on off days when its hot 8)

Alternate 10am starts one week and 11am starts the next week. Finish at 6. Still get paid 40 hour contract.

My own office (shut the door if I don't wana put up with idiots :pfft: )

Corporate box at Hurricanes/lions games.

At this point as a student, all I get is 2 weeks "study break" every 10 weeks, and 3 months off at the end of the year. Oh and I dont have to work as my husband is taking care of me this year. Thankkfully its my last year as a full time student. I do have to find time to stuy for the biggest exam of my life in November and then it will be hitting the gym everyday until I get the results. Then its party, party, party. Oh I will start my Job late Jan early Feb next year. Then the perks start. \:D/ :pray:

i get discounts with my work i.d at alot of shops, online stores and random places like mechanics and gyms. no jury work and free public transport ( if i want it..usually only used when wasted in town). oh and i can stay at holiday homes across nz and australia for fuk all a night.. shibbey \:D/

Self employed so many perks!

Free protein powder and other supplements -not really free but take out of shop stock and can write off and no cash passes hand

Company vehicle, phone, computer and charges etc

free groceries

sleep with business partner (wife :wink: )

Made up for by impossible work schedules, stress, financial worries

and I HATE paydays,too many staff!!! :lol:
