Aduld Stem Cells and muscle repair

Acuman

Recommended Posts

hi

New research........

when a tissue ie; a muscle, is damaged it sends a signal to the bone marrow to release more adult stem cells, thoese stem cells then travel to the injured site and become brand new muscle cells in order to do the repair!

I have been using a stem cell nutrition product in my acupuncture practice for 3 years and have seen much faster recovery from injuries than with acupunctuer alone.

Here is a study done in mice to show how much more muscle is developed using this product as opposed to a placebo.

The more I look at diffrent supplements and diffrent foods, all of which provide essecintial nutrents for nourishing and feeding the cells of the body but none of them actually stimulate the repair system of the body.

We are releasing our own stem cells every day but if yoiu could release an extra 20-30% before and after training then your recovery could be reduced and your mass increased!

I googled "stemenhance", and google suggested "stemenhance scam". saw a few articles where people mentioning that it is a scam. If so many people think this is dodgy then I can imagine the results and products are not worth trying, as many people obviously have had no luck with these products.

Categorize this with liquid creatine?

They have a double blind placebo controled cross over study puplished in a world renouned medical journal, scams dont get published.

Try doing a google on 'vitamin scam' and you will have people out there telling you that you that vitamins are a scam.

Or even better do a google on 'acupuncture scam' with over 12,000 years of of medical history of keeping the biggest population on the planet the healthist for the longest, there are people out there that will tell you outright that acupuncture dosen't work, so it is hard to know who to belive!?

That is one of the problems with anything new people just rubbish it until one day enough people are taking it and are getting better health and then and only then it is accecptial

Thats all ok, I just wanted you guys to see what the latest research in muscle recovery and repair is turning up.

Of course it's being met with skepticism all you linked was some pdf file conveniently located on a website that's trying to sell something. You claim it's published in a world renowned medical journal, why didn't you link that?

As for multivitamins I don't think they are necessary that is for anyone eating a decent diet, prove to me that it does something other than make my urine fluorescent yellow. I mean come on all this crap about needing pills to function properly is bogus, as long as people eat fruit veges and meat every day I really can't see anyone having a problem, after that it's up to individual genetics. I've never noticed any difference in the way I've felt taking a multivit I've never noticed a difference in my cognition, my skin health or any other bodily function other than urine which looks radioactive.

Yes mesenchymal stem cells can travel to damaged sites to repair tissue but the degree to which this happens in muscle is extremely small, the response to micro-trauma by muscle cells is mostly characterized by sarcoplasmic and myofibrillar hypertrophy.

How does your product claim to release more stem cells from bone marrow and how do we know they are going to muscle tissue? As they also go else where for example they are mobilized to sub-chondral bone for bone remodeling in diseases like osteoarthritis.

whats the link to the journal article that has been published?

... is it AMWAY? When people start talking opportunity and compensation plans .... it often means going to meetings every week and buying lots of product that isn't conclusively proven and over priced.

what is good for the mouse isn't always good for the man.

Unanswered Questions

Before taking any product, it is advisable to know whether it has been proven safe and effective for its intended purpose(s). With respect to StemEnhance, the following questions would have to be answered:

What evidence shows that taking StemEnhance will improve anyone's health?

Has any study shown that people improved their health as a result of taking it?

What evidence shows that StemEnhance is safe for long-term use?

How can users be certain that long-term use will not cause abnormal tissue growth?

For whom is the product advisable?

Who should not take it?

Some studies have found that circulating stem cells from bone marrow can develop into a few other types of mature cells [11,12]. Most of these studies were done in animals and should not be interpreted as applicable to humans. Human studies have found that found that injecting stem cells into the coronary arteries might be beneficial and that the number of circulating stem cells may help determine the prognosis for cardiovascular disease [13]. As far as I know, however, no study has demonstrated that increasing the number of circulating cells—as StemEnhance is claimed to do—is safe to do over a long period of time, is effective against human disease, or makes people generally healthier.
