I'm pretty sure I've got the ROM somewhere, can email it to you if you want. Had it on my iPhone when it was jailbroken but reverted back to normal as I had too many probs with it. Still have the rom/emulator setup on my laptop though, lotsa the older FF stuff as well (also have legitimate FFI/II on the iPhone, those are awesome).

I played a couple of games in CHCH about 3 years ago representing NZ team of 5 players in the COD4 world cup that we were competing in (we got absolutely thrashed). One of the guys got sick so I was the next person in line was ranked 6th in NZ at the time. Gave up competitive gaming about a year ago and sold my gaming PC so I can focus on uni.

Chrono Trigger has to be the best made RPGs ov all time. You have to spend very little time "training" to get through the game, you just naturally progress the whole way and it's non-stop action. And if you get behind on level you can make it up with skill anyway.

You know how to do SSH transfer PC<->iPhone, eh? Default password is usually alpine if you use Cydia (I think), I think you had to assign your iPhone a static IP, then remote into it using an SSH app like WinSCP. That's the basics anyway, lotsa guides out there. Easy as once you have SSH setup, just drag and drop into the ROMS directory...

I was running it on iOS4.01 or something like that, ran it for 6-8 months but just chronic freezes/restarts. Probably installed one too many dodgy apps :shifty: Was a heck of a battle trying to revert it to normal, it was so farked it wouldn't sync anymore. I think it's good to you as long as you don't get carried away with it :pfft:

FFIII came out last month on iPhone (app store), just found out today, just downloaded 8) That'll be my mobile gaming for the next couple weeks. Best FF IMHO, but man I feel like playing some Chrono Trigger now.

I sold my 360 a while ago, but i feel like getting another one now or a PS3...a jail broken PS3 with a 1TB HDD put in it sounds good at the moment to be honest, but from memory I prefered the 360's controller to the playstations one

i have that setup for offline (jailbroken ps3 with external hdd)

and xbox 360 for online.
