I'm sorry if this thread has already been posted and I wouldn't be surprised if it has been. However after searching the first few pages and not finding what I needed I resorted to this and hopefully someone can shed some light! :)

I have so many friends who take creatine and everyone seems to have a different view on creatine?

should i take 5g before everyworkout?

5g in the morning and 5g before bedtime?

load for a week with 20g a day and then 2g everyday?

could i get the RIGHT way to load/take creatine please? as well as the optimum amount?

cheers in advance!

Few topics to look at:

CREATINE - The definitive thread.

Creatine.

Creatine Monohydrate.

Who has heard about this for creatine use?

Not to mention the other one that recently started up, here.

If you need more, go into the Advanced Search, tick the Search Within "Topic titles only" option, and use "creatine" as the keyword. As you suspect, there are many, many previous threads on this ;)

loads of different views or oppinions....

i go for 5g daily. taken in my pwo shake with dextrose, whey and water.

i dont tend to cycle it, i use it every day. ie on non training days il just mix some up and drink it.

then maybe evey 2 months or so, ill take a week off creatine.

i dont load it. i just start taking it pwo as above

i have done lots of reading about creatine, and there are many different opinions, but from all of reading i have found that the general concecus is to take 5g in pwo shake, but don't have it with glutamiene or caffeine, just to be safe...
