I pin one site per day. Rotating between 2 sites on each leg and sometimes shoulders if legs are hurting :pfft:

I am very anal about ED pinning. A long ester will allow a smaller amount of test to migrate into the blood stream every day so even with long esters ED pinning will allow for a perfectly stable blood level with no peaks and troughs.

Once you get up to 2g PW it is much more convenient to pin all of your short & long esters ED. You can achieve very stable blood levels using this method & even 1g PW is best split up into several shots. Most sites will only tolerate 3mls comfortably. Rotation of sites is essential unless you want to end up with an oil embolism or abscess. In addition to Lateral Delt Head (2) & Quads (4) Vastus Lateralis & Fectus Femoris (6) if you use the inner head Vastus Medialis (Ouch!), you need to consider using both Pecs (2) Lower Pec is best, Biceps (4) Long & Short Head (inside & outside - if you r lucky you will be able to see the 2 heads & avoid veins), Triceps (2) the Long head above the horseshoe is the easiest to reach, Calfs (2) the Gastrocnemis - inside head is preferred) & Glutes (2) if you can get you arm around to pin them. So there are 20 sites that you can rotate around. The smaller groups Bis, Tris, Calfs with not hold much more than 2mls though.

Pinning every site known to man is just unnessercery. The more sites you identify the more unsafe they get. U have 2 glute, 2 delts, 2 quads... Lol if u need more u might wanna take a look at yourself.

Not being negative, I think this is a great thread. Interesting opinions, experiences and ideas. Nice!

I don't pin glutes even though it is probably the safest, I don't have the flexibility to accurately hit the glutes.

If I am using a fast ester with site improvement capabilities I will bi's, tri's, calves, upper chest, lateral delt etc etc.

Otherwise its just two sites on each outer quad and possibly delts if quads are suffering from over use lol.

This thread has a tonne of great useful information from heaps of experienced peoples opinions.

What do you base that on? I would say the opposite :D the more oil you inject into a site the more chance of infection or embolism.

OK I thought it only fair to post up a couple of shots of Sifo in his last competition in 2009 where he won Overall Physique. Here is a guy that walks the talk & although his incessant ramblings on this forum may be a tad tedious  he has got the ability & knowledge to reach a high level in BBing, if only I could get him to train hard enough & stop bringing his cellphone to the gym :pfft:

Yeh, like that'll ever happen. Reckons he gives us mere mortals the chance to squeeze in extra sets while he's busy. Muscliest thumbs on the planet. :pfft:

awesome pics...who's who though?

The two competition photos are of me.

I was at the top of my athletic weight and had to drop mass to make weight but it was worth it to secure a new title.

On that day I won the overall Asia Pacific Athletic title plus the open physique regional title.

I have since devoted my training to the physique class and have plenty of top 5 placings but no 1st place in the physique class.

My goal is now to take the overall New Zealand Physique title.

I am currently 30kg heavier than those competition pictures and feel I am getting close to having enough mass to be a serious contender.

With similar condition at 15kg heavier on stage it will be a new ball game!!!

Be cool to see how he looks in the next comp MNZ?

He could almost do the maths for the boys based on current "market rates" and tell them how many $ per kg of lean BW it costs to progress at that level (serious).

It is funny you ask that question... I have done that calculation.

If you are just accounting for the gear you use it costs an avaerage of $1500/kg of pure permanent solid mass on stage.

If you add HGH to the mix the average cost comes down to Approx $1000/kg

If you account for EVERYTHING used in the sport of competitive bodybuilding including protein and OTC supplements then cost is around 3000/kg.

That is based on gains made in on stage weight when compared to the same condition and body fat.
