Hey all

Like just about all guys, I'd love to gain a few pounds of lean muscle, and like many, i've got a few pounds of fat i'd love to burn (17%BF).

I'd love to get some advices about how much to eat in the morning before a 6 am weights session. I usually get up at around half 5, and find that if I eat too much I feel fucked for the whole session.

At the moment, I have a powerade and a cassein protein shake at 5:30 and then huge feed afterwards.

Advices?

If you are looking to strip fat then dont eat anything or maybe just a banana. It worked for me years ago. If you casein then take that the night before as it digests real slow so you should have some reserve in there for a morning training.

But i have no doubt that you will hear plenty of opinions on what to do on this forum. Good luck with your training

I cant train that early due to not eating enough. I need a good hour after eating before hitting the gym, I do now lots of people who do train that early some dont eat before hand some do. Personally If I train to soon after eating it will all come back up :puke: . If I dont eat though I feel weak and get a head ache.

have a decent meal the night before training

also as soon as you get up in the a.m you could blend a banana, oats, aminos and instant coffee maybe

id ditch the caesin pre-wo. have it at bedtime.

powerade for intra-wo if your training for more than 60mins, otherwise not necassary

I have caesin in milk and yoghurt 9-930pm (try putting in freezer make a pseudo ice-cream), up at 4am for whey protein shake with yoghurt or bit of dextrose, back to bed for an hour or so 5.15am Jak 3d and at the moment extra creatine, get into gym at 5.30 ish .Works for me.Then Protein shake and oats,or muffin and jam post wo.

Tried doing just Jak3d with bcaa powder and had a shit workout.
