Low BP/hypotension help via nutrition over medication

hi guys iv just got a question in regards to low blood pressure, im posting this thread on behalf of someone. who has low blood pressure of around 100/60 most of the time and feeling ok to occasionally havnt abnormally low blood pressure or hypotension which is blood pressure lower than 90/60. theirs today was 86/51. from my understanding some people have low readings all the time and thats just them, they have no signs/symptoms of unwellness and this is just the norm for them, hypotension is only a concern if it cause signs/symptoms of dizziness, light headedness, drowzyness etc. they will sometimes experience a little bit of this. the person is female, 21yo, 50odd kg and average height for a girl, healthy as.

the hypotension isnt all the time. so finally what i am asking is if any of you have changed yr blood pressure readings successfully with some simple changes to your nutrition by adding certain foods?(im already aware hydration is important for BP) its not like a big lifestyle change is needed here the current diet is that of any normal person and walks or gyms if not everyday every 2nd day.

thanks look forward to hearing sharing opinions and learning something.

Mint.

Well im sorry I went the other way, I had hypertention over xmas it got to 220/100 and was almost admitted for it. But hitting the gym and a complete meal changed its now normal. Oh yes I swapped my meds to a long acting one.

But you need to go to the doctor and get his or her advice before changing anything to your diet, its really hard to increase BP without meds.

littler people esp women seem to just have naturally lower b/p but you get the 120/80 thing shoved down your throat from doctors to fitness courses. Like everyones meant to have the same magical number regardless of gender size etc... done 100's of b.p tests and fit small young women seem to have alot lower bp readings in general. Would guess its due to size of the person, smaller heart, smaller cardio vascular system etc...

maybe shes fitter now than she was last time she had her readings, or less stressed. could be shit loads of things really although the difference in readings isn't overly huge.
