NZIFBB Bikini Class

Anyone competed in or know any more infor about the NZIFBB Bikini Class?

I'm not quite lean enuff to enter :grin: but a friend is looking at competing.

It states:

Judges will be scoring competitors using the following criteria:

* Balance and Shape

* Overall physical appearance including:

- Complexion

- Skin Tone

- Poise

- Overall presentation

Any indication of the standard sought internationally or in NZL (often seems to differ). What sort of % BF or look would be considered too lean?

Any other info appreciated?

Mrs Weener did the CHC IFBB (1st) show and the Ozzy (1st in C.O.O and in the top 10 of Oz girls according to judges) one last year. It was still a new class so nobody really knew what they were looking for. My understanding was that Sports Illustrated look with slightly more muscle tone.

Your best bet would be to take a look at the ozzy girls the winners there seemed to be lean and what I can best describe as a soft NZ figure girl.

Weener is definately onto it and Mrs Weener was gorgeous in this class in australia.... With my limited experience of watching this class a sports illlustrated look is what they are after.. if you google the IFBB Bikini class (Arnold Amateur event) you will get some amazing examples of what is wanted in this class although in NZ we dont always get it and the judges can only judge and award what is in front of them... Emaciated or skinny with flat butts is a no no, a toned body with an even distribution of body fat, visible abs but not 4 pack or 6 pack, evidence of hamstrings , nicely rounded glutes, and gorgeous symmetry is definately in.

I did the bikini class last October at the Hamilton show.

It was my goal to get up on stage as quickly as I could after having Lucy....she was 5 months old on show day.

Im looking at entering it again this year tho will come in a lot tighter and better poised on stage.
