sweet as yes i think we are actually agreeing only id put more emphasis on cardio initially to get you started. i only said something cos you disagreed with jones for suggesting running is an effective way of losing weight. personally i dont do any cardio. id only recommend it to females.. cos i like fit women :grin:

anyways. good luck on your journey mamatraining. good to see you have started a journal.. now you have us to answer to :poked: :grin:

ps. dont waste your money on a pt!

Ummm, okay, so maybe we don't agree on everything, Bang Bang! :pfft:

I think a few PT appts is a great investment for mamatraining, as it should get her started with weight training in asafe and effective way. Once she is confident training by herself, she will probably not need a PT.

And again, if you read my original post, you would have seen that I did not disagree that running was an effective way to lose weight. What I did say is that if you only do running, you will lose muscle as well as fat. Pheeww, right then... :P

Mamatraining, you are doing awesome! Glad hubby is on board as that will make things a heap easier for you. Don't focus too much on what the scales say - as you will put on muscle, your weight may not change as much as your figure will! Go, girl! :clap:
