solid fight by tua, im not a boxing expert actually i know f*ck all. but looked as he boxed well and strung together some good combos. solid opponent in dimitri king.... massive face bloat lol. kept his chin down whole time pretty much. tua never got shook for the whole fight.

wonder whos next and when, hopefully sooner rather than later.

I was disappointed tbh, Tua fought ok and strung together some good combos...every once in a while. But the reason the yanks love him - and will book him - is because he's got one-punch knockout power. He's not going to get a title fight taking average fighters like King (15-19 going into this fight! as a comparison, Tua was 51-3) to a decision. Klitchsko(s)/Haye will eat him up within a few rounds on current form.

King looked out of shape and uninterested in engaging. Tua looked like he was just trying to do enough to win, might have been able to knock the guy out but doing so would've risked emptying the tank, and King has some power and could capitalise on a tired Tua. I think Tua realised this so didn't want to risk punching himself out. King did look to have a decent chin though, didn't get rocked despite a few nice hooks to the temple. Was acting like the bodyshots didn't hurt either but I bet he felt them in the later rounds.

I'm a Tua fan, and I really hope he can get that title shot, but I don't think it's going to happen. Sadly. He needs to be whipping guys like he did to Shane Cameron. The Monte Barret match where he was lucky to escape with a draw, and now a pedestrian decision win... his next fight needs to be nothing short of a KO within 3-4 rounds IMHO :)

How the hell does he think that he will stand a chance against ANY professional boxer at all? he needs to quit right now, im sure noone is getting excited over his lackluster matches against lowly ranked boxers.

im very entertained by tua bouts... and he is fighting professional boxers as far as im aware.

if you have that attitude then wtf is the point of the all whites even playing thier fucking shit arse and never gonna do well internationally (unless of course ur definition of doing well is my definition of ARSEHOLES!) , or michael schumacher currently driving in the F1 he past his used by date in bigger scheme of things, or even tiger woods should stop playing....

i think your jealous....

or u racist? dnt u like to see a black man make sucess?

Success? he had a draw against a random guy, and he barely beats a boxer who has lost more matches than won, Thats not success, he needs to retire now.

what do u mean barely beat dimetri king? he was all over him in every aspect of the fight... just because tua doesnt get a knockout you think he failed. monty barret isnt a random guy... hes been around for a long time. so what he drew that one? u cant win them all.

seriously i always like to ask ppl like you and on talkback radio, what have you ever achieved that was great and recognised by millions of people worldwide? critisim is fair enough and comes with the territory but if he knocks somone out in first or second round u say the opponent was too easy, if he goes the 10 or 12 rounds and still wins you say he wasnt good enough, did u ever think maybe he was earring on the side of caution with a guy like dimetri? hes a big guy and coulda knocked tua out with one punch at any time. at the end of the day the guys 38 and doing all he can to get big fights... obviously not the smartest guy outside of the ring and made some bad bussiness decisions. i reckon good on him and hes doing fucken well

AMEN!

Damned if he does, damned if he doesnt. I was at the fight on saturday, reality is that dimitrice king was in there to survive. he got caught with a few early and put the ear muffs on the rest of the fight. Credit to him though, he got in there with one of the biggest punchers in the heavyweight division. He has only been stopped twice, By shannon briggs and fres oquendo ( whom David knocked out )

I was very happy with what i saw saturday night. and i look forward to the fight in june/july. hopefully a rematch with monte is on the cards. then maybe a fight stateside with Arreola or povetkin or someone like that.

if he keeps winning
