Cooking / baking with whey protein powder??

I've been told that if you heat up whey protein, i.e. in the form of cooking or baking with it, it loses its digestable protein content. This is also supposed to happen if you store the protein already mixed....

I make an oat protein pancake for my breakfast that has oats, protein powder (whey concentrate), eggs and lite cottage cheese as its main ingredients. I make 4 at once, eat one and save the other three in the fridge / freezer. Does this mean I'm losing the protein content coming from the whey? :o

I am finding this a bit hard to believe because if it was the case, surely the same thing would happen to protein from all other dairy-based sources in cooking...

Looking forward to yor opinions. Cheers!
