Caregiver in the aged sector, not worth it really thats why I am in my final year as a student nurse then Ill start on $45,000 ish whic is almost three times what I am earning now. My husband is a teacher and earning over $75,000 but he has earnt that. He spent another 2 years at school after he finished his degree. If you put the hard work in now it will pay off later.

Also dont wait till the end of the year to go around your local gyms, take your CV in now and have a meeting with the managers, remember to look the part when you do. It shows a manager what you are really about and that you are willing to put the hard yards in when you cold callm and yes there may be nothing out there but it shows you are willing to go the extra mile. When you do talk to them them ask about your dregree and where they would suggest to do it.

thank you very much for that.. you are right, what have i got to loose!

:D

Somalian pirate

Was a good wicket but now with all these Navy ships around have to have a Mother ship, attack boats and large crew.

Ever tried keeping a band of pirates in order!

Whole new meaning to getting fired when they disobey.

May head over to Middle east to help out Gaddafi!

Firefighter. Pay is alright if you do overtime. Get an hour every shift to do gym. Job is great. 4 days on, 4 days off (without overtime, so it doesn't often work out that way in reality, but then overtime is voluntary). Get quite a good amount of paid leave, too. Can't complain. :D

Good shifts if you have a secondary job

unless you work for yourself or can find flexible job jimjim, its hard to find a secondary job on a 4 on 4 off cycle. as i work this and 8 day cycle and 7 day week so you cannot committ to regular days in a secondary job.

secondary income tax is total bullshit too. the more motivated and harder you work the more you are penalised, the lazier you are and less you do you are given more.
