Hey everyone, so we have no idea when the uni gym is going to reopen so i havent hit a gym for a while now. is there any other cheap gyms close to that area?

Snap fitness is something like 14 dollars a week I hear, and it's 24/7

Snap is shit, barely enough plates to around and the equipment is rubbish and no squat rack. I would recommend fitness canterbury

its not that bad but yeah the one thing they are missing is a squat rack. too many people injure themselves in them aparantly so you have to make do with front squats or the smith machine. i havent had a issue with the amount of weight lying around but then again i never need anymore than 4 plates at a time :pfft: (apart from leg press)

apart from no squat rack i find its pretty good, never seen it crowded.

Yeah they not too bad eh at Snap Fitness, the Hornby one is quite good, Papanui is far too small in my opinion although I go there but probably not for long.
