i currently use:

multi vit

whey concentrate

flaxseed oil

dextrose

creatine

considering using:

bccas

glutamine

jacked (for legs day)

do you guys reckon they (or any others) are worth starting on? or am i better off waiting till my newbie gains start to plateau before i start trying other things?

Good chance I'll get slated for this BUT can the Dextrose and add in bcaa. They are cheap and in my opinion an essential supp.

I currently (nah always) use

Whey (Nutratech)

BCAA (Nutratech)

Kre-alk (American EFX)

bee pollen

When the price is wright (which is often) Gaspari Plasma Jet

I love these topics! I'd use almost everything but generally:

Xtend -Versatile BCAA blend

Creatine/Kre Alk + Beta Alanine (Beta K)

Whey- Nutratech nooogahs

ZMA- Natural AI and sleep aid

Multivit- for when i havent been eating my greens :3

Glucose/Vitastix- Quick replenishment, good pump

And on occasion:

DMAA- To get my disco gym on zyzz styles, I superset everything with fist pumps.

DAA+Nettleroot- Cost effective test booster

Anti-Inflam- after wrecking myself doing squats

Wishlist:

Creatine Nitrate- Would love to hear a review on this thats not from SHR

Activate+Erase Stack

Primordial performance prohormones

I agree with WL, BCAAs are powerful, I'd rather use them around a workout and have real food post WO once I get home over supplementing with whey.

:pfft: :pfft: Crack up I would go that far. I just think whole foods are better post workout. If your are adding it to a post workout shake and can't get your PWO feed in then maybe leave it in but otherwise it's just a personal belief that whole foods are better.

I agree with you weaner lad about the benefits of a post workout meal of wholefoods being superior and far more bio-available than any shake/supplement mix...

But Dextrose in it's pure form is a wholefood and the preferred fuel for cell function in the human body. Whereas BCAA's are not wholefoods or derived from wholefood sources. Ingesting balanced nutrition of varied wholefood sources of proteins carbs and fats will ensure abundant supply of BCAA's

In a lot of cases most nutrition may lack balance and therefore we supplement the BCAA's because the human body is unable to duplicate these amino acids itself from other template amino acids such as L. Glutamine.

Interesting I didn't realize it was considered a whole food.

haha.

i eat close to a kg of potato/kumara and 500g chicken breast each and every day so im sorted there. just looking to maximize gains through supplements. i have 50g dextrose/25g whey as i walk out of the gym then hit up a big feed 30mins later so im not substituting dextrose for whole food. i just take it because that seems to be the done thing for spiking insulin. what bccas do you use and when do you take them?
