there was also a 7.1 in japan about 3 days ago, but was too deep. small tsunami expected to hit NZ at 5am tomorrow. US and Canada boarders on high alert. I read a stuff article last year saying 2010 one of the most deadliest years in record for natural disasters!!

I wonder whether climate change is playing a part in this, many skeptics think so

pretty fucked up, had to check on some mates from Judo, luckly for our club and my mates they're not from the northen part of Japan so they're safe....still fucking sucks seeing what's happening there...heard something on the news about Aus and NZ sending some rescue teams there...I hope it gets done but then after all NZ and Aus have problems of their own with the Earthquake and Flood

The earth has always had earthquakes yet because of the sensationalist media now many people are like "oh what does it mean?" "the end of the world?" No. It means the earth is doing what it's always done nothing is out of the ordinary. It's just an unfortunate process for people because we established alot of civilisations right along the edge of the tectonic plates where they converge under an absolutely massive amount of pressure.

Fanatics will read all kinds of shit into the unfortunate events that have happened recently and in turn scare a lot of people

for sure mate, but there has been a very dense amount of mayor earthquakes over the last 24 months, more than likely just a cycle, but is this the last big one for 5 years or is there going to be more, is this the tip of the ice berg or are we just getting going???

Crazy stuff

Rookie watch out for the Nuclear probs could effect you even on another Island if you are close enough.

Not much you can do about it though having said that!

Keep safe man

Chur Grover, we all good for now. There have been over 400 confirmed deaths and over 200 people still missing. Unable to call certain places too, as you can imagine how many people will be trying to call those in the affected area.
