Not a bad day yesterday, 36 lifters a couple more that we expected. Had about 4 or 5 from the Special Olympics Palmeston North based team good to see them in The Main Stream the oldest 71 years Old.

17 Novice lifters which was a pretty good showing

Some pretty good raw stuff going on with Leti Avei at 102 kgs pumping out a Raw and easy 185kg Bench

With Kieran Prisk (Drizzt) best Deadlift on Wilks 250kg (157.125) Leti 250kg (150.925)

TrapFat and Matthews challenge going down to the last Deadlift with Trap taking the honours by 10kgs even though he is double his age and twice his weight.

Some one has to call some one plus 10 till the CDs

Split the sessions into two Experienced and Novice

Want thank our Refs The Desk but especially the Spotter Loaders we only had 3 for a full on day of loading thanks guys. They were pretty shattered at the end of the day. Because we punched through 36 lifters in just under 4 and half hours

I think we have to have some of the faster loaders in the country, and that was having breaks between the session's too, to refresh them.

Cheers for the hard work OB (and all the support staff!), I had a lot of fun, can't wait for the next one :clap: Wee bit sore today and have a bit of blood showing in my left eye but all worn proudly :pfft:

Leti is a tank! :shock: Hope to see more of him lifting in future, he'll be a HUGE force if there is a raw division introduced. Guided a lot of the young novice guys around well, really nice guy too.
