2011 Arnold

Tough watching the webcast this morning, wouldn't want to be a judge.

Ronnie Rockel came in with the thinnest skin I'd seen on him in a long time, but was getting some interesting callouts all over the show, I think they were struggling with where to place him.

Johnnie Jackson brought the best condition I've seen in a long time but still lacks the legs. Rear lat spread is sick!

Roelly wasn't in shape, although he has the most incredible arms, needs more legs and his back shots were strange, it was like he was only popping his right lat.

Branch, same as always, huge and hard.....don't get excited Nate.

Dennis Wolf, the surprise after the Flex show, much improved condition with a rear lat spread as wide as an aircraft carrier, legs a little under condition compared to Evan.

Evan, got the good early call then put in the 2nd call, his back just doesn't move during the rear lat spread. His quads were awesome, perfect size and condition :salute:

Dexter, much bigger than usual, particularly in the lats, made his chest look a little smaller even though it probably isn't, very little detail in the glutes and hams. He set the benchmark as the blade and is now being measured by it. Still I'd have him up there in top 5 as he is just so damm complete.

Victor, got better as he went on, his legs are a little down next to Wolf and Centopani, and lack detail in the upper quad, his lat shoulder arm chest combination just standing there is the best onstage with size and shape. Doesn't look hard til he flexes then show feathered quads.

My pics how I'd have them, although I don't think the judges will:

Victor, Branch, Wolf, Centopani, Dexter, Rockel, Jonnie J, Roelly, Ben Pakulski, Toney, Fouad, Essa, Robert P, Sergei.

As the Judges will have it:

Branch, Evan, Victor, Wolf, Rockel, Dexter, Johnnie O, Roelly....

I saw the pics from the pre judging on Flexonline I thought I would not want to be in any of the judges shoes it is going to be hard to pick a winner but my top six would be

1 Victor to win

2 Dennis Wolf

3 Evan C

4 Dexter Jackson

5 Jonney Jackson

6 Ronnie Rockel

no room for Branch in your 6?

go to bodybuilding.com to view the video replay, you must like Jonnie O's shape over Ronnies thickness?

Branch Warren wins the 2011 Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic! 2nd Dennis Wolf, 3rd Victor Martinez, 4th Evan Centopani, 5th Dexter Jackson, 6th Ronny Rockel.

So says IFBB Facebook

Dexter really slipping down the ranks everyone else seems to be getting better but he has stayed the same or even gone a little bit backwards? Glad Branch one he really deserves it nothing like thick ripped beef on beef!

About time Branch finally racked one up. He's improved immensely over the last couple of year. Still freaky but has got his symmetry sorted. Thought Evan would have done better going on pre comp pics. They still don't want Wolf to be there it seems but certainly has improved placings without the Big Guns on stage. Congrats to Nuria in Arnold Amateur. Well done. Dr Squat will have to put up Nuria's Photo on the wall of fame at Eastside along with his own :D

u guys dont really take the ifbb pro placings seriously do you? you know its all based on money, sponsorship and cocksucking.

placings dont interest me one bit, i do appreciate the athletes physiques and seeing the youtube clips and pics... but debates about who should have won or whose slipping down the ranks etc are irrelevant.

mike k knows what im talking about, he beat salah at the aussie comp when they competed salah cryed coz he came last so a week later at the nz comp he beat mike when mike looked even better than he did at the aussie show. now u cant tell me some cash wasnt exchanged or some judges arsehole wasnt rimmed there.

Just watched the night show, which with the new rule of being worth 50% of the points on offer, and it certainly made for few changes. Firstly there was no slacking off on the water intake during the day, as some of the guys NAILED it tonight.

Dennis Wolf......my god, like he went away this morning and dieted another 4 weeks and came back, tonight!

His back was grainy sick and his skin like onion peel, the first quarter turn and he had this crazy vein going across his chest and right threw his nipple.

Evan and Ronnie's condition looked to take a bit of a drop and Dexter tightened up to jump into 5th.

A real interesting thing was watching the post prejuding rundown on RXMuscle, they had their camera at a much lower angle (as the judges would sit) than BB.com and it was far more forgiving on Branches structure (of which I'm not a fan) and being situated much closer highlighted how far ahead of Evan and Dennis his condition was this morning. It really didn't look close between Branch and the others from that camera position.

The other thing that I missed this morning that showed through tonight was Essa Obiad's shoulder width, not just his clavicle but the mass on his shoulders.....Flex Wheeler likened him to Mohammed Benaziza for the amount of muscle packed on his frame.

In the US some very large people get charged for a 2nd seat on an aircraft.....I think that they might move Essa onto entire other aeroplane for himself it was so thick.

Just watched Shawn Rays rundown on MD, it showed a very happy Dennis Wolf (a week out from the Australian Pro too) performing his posing routine, with their flat camera angle and distance away, he didn't look sharp at all. Goes to show, theres nothing like live, of all the times I've come in granite hard and shredded and you can count on one hand how many pics I have that capture it.

The angle of viewing is everything, thats why children always think I'm big and have wide lats
