In the past I have tried it I have found I usually hold an extra 2-3 kgs of water, get a fuller look and can maybe lift a bit more. I have found the biggest help is with endurance and recovery.

depending on your weight you may have to up the dosage, but it is even then not a magic potion you should see results from use.

To be honest, creatine doesn't do much for me, either. I'm never sure if the extra gains I think I see are for real, or water weight, or just me imagining it. I still take it every now and then, just as insurance.

I've also heard the creatine levels in your system can stay elevated for quite some time after you stop supplementing - I don't know true that is, but perhaps if you're not seeing any difference now, try going off it for a few months, then have another go?

On the subject of creatine, you are supposed to take it with some high GI carbohydrate for optimal absorbtion, so failure to do this may be the problem in some cases.

Now I recall, the best results I had were when using some chewable tablets consisting of 2/3 glucose and and 1/3 creating that I would chew while working out. Unfortunately the chemist that stocked the tablets discontinued them and I haven't been able to find anything similar since.

Actually, I just went and looked it up, and the results were surprising...

Maltose - 105

Glucose tablets -102

Glucose - 96

Sucrose - 64

High fructose corn syrup - 62

Honey - 56

Lactose - 48

Fructose - 22

The numbers are the GI rating - an indication of how quickly the food raises your blood sugar levels.

I once tried a transport matrix blend. Extremely expensive though. I Think it was Musashi and was $89. Worse was that there were somewhere between 10 and 15 servings  It had lots of other ingredients, taurine etc, but not worth the price. Gave a better 'pump' than mono though.

Try taking your creatine 30mins before your work out or 45 mins before you start and then take one after training, i found that it worked good for me when i was taking it.

Like my squats went up 20kg's, my bench went up 15kg's shoulder press went up aswell or from taking celltech.

Alot comes from your mind but you just have to work hard while been on creatine.

Wow those are some interesting gains from just creatine and of corse the legendary celltech :pfft: . Over what time period did those results occur?

"the legendary cell tech" heard about that on bb.com forums a bit of a piss take for being asked if you are on gear, do you post there growth?

on topic though if creatine gives you those results, no worries keep taking it I am glad it works for some. I do believe that some of it is in the mind as I stated in another thread.

Nah i dont post there, i read alot of different forums. Like many people i dont really rate MuscleTech products as they tend to be overpriced yet have the same effect as other similar products.

Dont get me wrong, i think that protein is essential to a good bulking program and if you find creatine working for you then great, use that too.

But contrary to popular belief celltech is not 34232423 times more anabolic than test  :pfft:

Well I picked up some creatin ethyl ester caps today 1 month supply, o loading needed just right into it, I will to a review when I finish them I will only be ablr to do a month because I am going to be out of the country again for a few weeks, it is going to mess up my training.

I have high hopes for this product.

Creatine I have found is beneficial for retaining water in the muscle tissue and transproting ATP (Adenosine tri phosphate) the cells energy currency. As we all know creatine can be attained from food, such as red meat. The purpose of creatine is to satjurate the muscle cell with Creatine to get the ultimate level of efficiency out of the cell. Personally I have found that if I double the dose for maintenance, instead of a tespoon a day make it 2 or 3. and likewise for loading.

Personally I don't feel i can put any specific gains down to creatine as it is only a small part of a training and diet routine. but i personally feel that it does help, the science is solid anyway.

Brands, i just go for the cheapest pharmaceutical grade I can find , pharmasport is 2 for 1 at the moment.

cheers,
