I'm a student though, but if you got a community services card they'll let u have that price too I think. I don't think they'll have a problem with chalk and nah no joining fee

Not a gym, but Gymeez "the supplement shop" is open, the front of the street got clearance in the weekend.

CF haven't charged Moorhouse members anything since the quake. If Moorhouse members elected to go to Northwood in the meantime then there memberships would be reactivated.

I havent check the bank account since but Im hoping this is the case. If not a refund is on the books.

While we are on the subject of Christchurch gyms Les Mills they are opening a gym on 41 Riccarton Road from what I have read on the Les Mills website it will have full weight training and cardio facilates,Body trainers Personal training,on site car parks,Limted port o showers.

Yeah, it's also pretty small and will be packed, hence why i'm not going to join right now

Rumours are everywhere mate, thats the reality of living in Chch these days. Existing members have had all payments suspended since Feb 22, why the need for a good deal? It goes without saying many members have quit which considering the situation is hardly surprising, but they'll be back once MH reopens. The gym is having a major internal refit with totally new changing rooms, extra floor space(the place will be enourmous), new carpark, all cardio equip is to be replaced with brand new machines, most machines & racks replaced with new(as in brand new) gear due to water damage/rust, entire gym recarpeted, a dedicated TRX and powerlifting area, and Mocha cafe is moving in as well. It'll be a great thing.

Your obviously in the know so where is the new floorspace coming from and the new car parking? Post some pics. I see pics were mentioned on CF website but they are not there (due to not getting in?)

Pics on CF facebook page are of current damage/repair work so they don't tell the story of what's really going on in there. Extra gym floor space will come from Physio South and former staffroom moving to other end of gym next to Laserstrike and removal of the old PT consult rooms and seminar room next to spin studio. This will create a massive open space down that end of gym. Access to the gym isn't an issue, although their is a strict limit on the number of staff that are allowed in there at any one time.

Regarding the carpark, I wouldn't have a clue how that is going to happen, although exit will now be via Pilgrim Pl under Colombo St overbridge only instead of been able to exit onto MH ave due to west side of complex cordoned off.

Ill show you how to danger train. A 2 hour work out in 20 minutes in and out before the building falls down!
