Hey guys,

Sarah here, been working out on and off since I was 14 taking it most seriously only recently( last couple months), looking to see how far i can go with figure stuff.

do u have anything specific goals with ''figure stuff'' or just seeing where it takes you? :)

Well goal-wise, i've lost 4kgs, i'm working on the next (final) 6kgs, and i wanna drop approximately another 6%+ body fat.

I'm also working on strength and overall muscle conditioning, basically when people look at me i want them to say, "she works out"

I have a work fitness test in july/august and i want to drop approx 30 seconds from the last test 2 years ago.

And, if by doing all this i can come up with a body worthy of figure comps then i'd be a happy camper.

My training is not very regimented but

In an ideal week this is my training:

Day 1 Gym - Upper + abs

Day 2 Run 40 mins -1 hour

Day 3 Gym Lower + abs

Day 4 Run 40min- 1 hour

Day 5 rest or walk

Day 6 Gym - total body

Day 7 rest walk or run

Diet wise

Breakfast - porrige

Lunch 2 egg ommelete or a subway wrap depending on work

Dinner - brown rice, half can of 5 bean mix, vegetables

Snacks are protein shakes, rice thins with cottage cheese

In terms of what i actually do at the gym, thats a bit useless, i'll go and do whatever weights i feel like, make no notes on what i'm actually doing, so my next step i think is to get a program sorted and actually stick to it.

i like pressups, bench, free weights, squats, lunges and do a mixture of upper/lower/oblique and core ab work outs too.

Maybe have workouts where you're working one or two specific body parts in the one workout if you're aiming for strength and stuff. I'm only young though so the guru's and shit would know best. What body fat % are you at right now?

i have body fat scales, so i only know what that says about my body fat...

25 nearly 26%

so i want to get to at least 20%

i'm off to the gym now so will have a chat to one of the trainers there about a program and see if they'll measure me

Yeah. Bodyfat readings aren't always accurate. They generally aren't though. Aim high, and achieve even higher.
