I would recommend that you email the different complanies and ask for samples, I have tryed eat me, bodybuilding.co.nz, and I am sure that there are others out there, that is what I have been doing. As I am finding that some are not nice tasting at all and then there are some that are great. As a student I am not going to waste my time on ones that do not tast anygood.

I have just tryed nutrawhey chocolate, and it was really good. I look forward to trying the strawberry one before I go to bed. :pfft:

Interesting, no one mentioned Dymatize and quite a few fans of ON 100% even though I thought their chocolate flavour was rather bland.

These are the few protein powders I have personally tried

Aussiebodies (can you even still buy that now?), Horleys basic whey, Dymatize juicer range(now just their "Elite Whey" range), mutant mass, ON 100% whey and I have to say hands down Dymatize has the nicest and tastiest flavours out of all those brands.

Mutant mass in chocolate would come close 2nd. Still got a few testers of IA super quad to try yet.

Of course each to their own :)

Only problem is that it's a mass gainer and full of sugar as opposed to all the others which are WPI and WPC.

:? its a worry for sure, still deciding if I want to buy another bag on performance basis, but dam it tastes good from 1 scoop.

haha really? man I just tried the Dymatize wild berry after having the ON 100% whey chocolate flavour which hardly tasted chocolate at all! (I've had Milo that tasted more chocolately from 1 tea spoon). But yup each to their own :D

I used to like the choc mint flavour dymatize have, mmmm :)

Fully agree with this, this has been reformulated now, the new Strawberry will be out in around three to four weeks.

I noticed I had a chocolate & strawberry on the way this morning Hennie.... are you using me as a guinea pig with the new flavour?! :grin: :grin: :grin:

Out of the NZ brands so far I've tried Balance, Horleys, and Metapro and the Metapro had the best tasting chocolate whey I ever could Imagine existed. It tastes like chocolate brownies. But it depends like Balance kind of tasted caramelly and I don't like caramel so...
